Merhaba, Galata

The view from the Galata Tower on a clear day is breathtaking. Once you get to the top, the tower offs a 360° view of Istanbul. Again, the thumbnails don’t seem 100% clear so click on the image(s) for 100% focus! Damn WordPress!

Turkish Love Affair

I came across these two lock-heads in Beyoğlu, on a narrow and steep street that had various graffiti on its stone walls:

I haven’t been able to decipher what this means, but I’m going to assume it’s the Turkish lyrics for one of Lionel Ritchie’s songs:
