Potter Mania!

Yes, I am a fan of Harry Potter! Part 1 of the last HP movie will be out on November 19th and I cannot wait to see it (on IMAX of course). For those of you who love HP, check out these hot trailers! For those if you who can’t stand the sight of the bespectacled wizard, take comfort in knowing that after July 2011, you’ll never have to hear about him again πŸ˜€

Fan? Why or why not?

  1. November 21, for a late eve show. Can’t wait! Just rewatched Part 6, think I might re-read Part 7.
    I’m ready….

  2. I luvz Harry Potter!! I’ve read (and re-read) all the books and watched all the movies. Of course, the books were better! πŸ˜‰

And this is the strangest co-incidence, because I was planning an HP post myself! Hope to have it published sometime this week.

  3. I haven’t read the books or seen the movies. I’m not big on the fantasy genre. I wouldn’t go see it in the theaters because of the abundance of kids around but maybe if a cute guy wanted to watch it, I’m sure I could be persuaded. πŸ˜‰

Plus these are the 2hr + movies right? My attention span isn’t that long.

    • It’s not my usual genre – I refer to myself as a literary snob because I usually think these types of books are not worth my time LOL πŸ˜€ But after a friend harassed me (for quite sometime), I decided to pick up the books – I did enjoy them and the movies are pretty true to the books. They’re great distractions – not too much thinking required. You would be surprised at how many adults actually go to the movies – as many, if not more then kids!

  4. ……….For those if you who can’t stand the sight of the bespectacled wizard……….

What? Who are you talking about? Do Muggles like this even exist? Can’t stand the sight of Harry Potter? I must not understand the question.

  5. My kids all watch the Harry Potter movies. My oldest has read the books. I watch it with them when they come out. I like the movies, overall, and think that they have some great special effects. They are entertaining to watch. It’s not something I would go out of my way to watch on my own I think, but I enjoy watching them with the kids.

    • I’ve read the books as well after being nagged about it LOL! And I enjoyed them because I didn’t really need to think that much about what I was reading – from different from all those English Lit books I had to read πŸ™‚

  6. I feel like the HP creator has been tempting me for years now about him going away forever lol! Even though I’m not into it, I get the excitement. Have a great time when it comes out:)

Speak y'all! Or forever hold your peace.
